New products added to the website.

So, I must apologise. I must admit it has been a hectic few months for us all at Warbases HQ, and the blog somewhat has been left behind.

But after a hiatus we are back and as we've been very busy recently, making lots of new products and forging new links with partners, we thought we'd let you know what's new and where you can find it.

We recently took over as the show stockist of Daemonscape resin bases, but the deal we have also allows us to sell these online. A painted example is shown below, but you can click the link to view our entire range of these amazing creations. Daemonscape Resin Bases

Really Useful Boxes (RUB) are a widely used storage solution for the wargamer. We've recently added our version of inserts and trays to the website to allow you even more flexibility and capacity for these popular items.
 Above is a Deep Tray Box which is intended for use with a 4 litre RUB. You can fit 2 of these into a 9 litre RUB.
 Above is the Shallow Tray Box, this is pictured with an optional 20mm diameter liner (other versions are available). This comprises a single layer of MDF to allow you to place figures individually into the tray box. These tray boxes are carefully designed so that 2 will fit into the 4 litre RUB or 4 into the 9 litre version. These are extremely useful for small scale gamers whereby you'd be able to pack an entire army into one RUB.
The Tray Boxes have been created with cleverly castellated tops and bottoms to allow safe stacking. As you can see from the above picture, they are very versatile even outwith a RUB, and could be easily used for storing paints or other equipment tidily away.
Finally, we have a simple tray to fit into a RUB. There are only a few variations of this tray currently, but we'll be adding many more as customers request them. Please see our entire range of inserts and trays here.

We were recently contacted by a customer requesting a very special building. This was to be for the village of Benouville of Pegasus Bridge fame. The building in question is a Railway Station which stood opposite the Cafe Gondree. We have produced this in 28mm scale, which you may find suitable for any WW2 game such as Bolt Action or Chain of Command among others. Now available for purchase here.

We've also added the 28mm version of the Roman City Gates and Walls to the website due to popular demand. These items are based loosely on the reconstructed fort gate at Arbeia in South Shields. In keeping with the real items, we have tried to make these as intimidating as possible while retaining usability and practicality for the gamer. All the doors and gates are working items and internal floors and roofs are all removable for ultimate flexibility. You can find these items here.

Finally for today, we also added something of a 'heritage' product. Back in 2003 one of the very first rule sets published by Too Fat Lardies was Kiss Me Hardy! and we've only now got round to adding the turning circles to the website for your naval exploits. Available now from our web shop here.

In the 5 months since we last spoke we have been to 10 shows and released a number of new products such as our 15mm Roman buildings and our new 28mm Russian Tram but we are still working on more goodies, some of which can be seen at our up and coming shows. You will be able to find us at the remaining events in 2017;

29th of October we will be at Fiasco in Leeds at the New Dock Hall, part of the Royal Armouries in Leeds.

4th of November we will be on the continent for a jolly to lovely Antwerp for the Crisis show held at Hangar 29.

We hope to see you at some of the shows throughout the remainder of the year and don't be afraid to pop by and say hello.

Until next time, thanks for reading.
